The team

  • Writes the Simply mods, the Luma desktop app and this wiki. Everything here started as something that was missing from a personal world or a personal desktop.

  • HRE_Knight

    Tester and Model developer

He is both a Minecraft 3D and texture artist. He helped incorporate multiple models for the Simply Cozy mod. In addition, HRE_Knight does regular digital art as well.

Everything here is made by a small crew of people who wanted these things to exist in their own worlds first. Small, focused things: Fabric mods for Minecraft, a pile of 16× resource packs, and a desktop app called Luma that keeps the rest of life in one window.

Why “Simply”

The Simply universe is a bunch of mods that might as well be one mod — but that doesn’t bring freedom and customisation to the player. That’s why there are multiple Simply mods, each categorised. Simply Cozy is for building and decoration, Simply Enchantments is for enchantments, Simply PVP is for combat, and so on. This way the cozy players who only want to build don’t need to bring god-like swords into their world if they don’t want to.

How things get built

Everything starts as something someone wanted in their own world. Grow A Crop came first; Simply Cozy is what it turned into once the idea was worth doing properly. The rest followed the same route — build it, play with it, and only publish the part that survived.

Everything is Fabric

All six mods target Fabric, not Forge or NeoForge. One loader done properly beats four done badly, and it keeps the update cycle short enough that new Minecraft versions land quickly. The data packs are the exception — those work anywhere.

Joining in

There is always room for another pair of hands — textures, translations, bug reports, or a mod idea that has been sitting in a notes app for a year. How to contribute covers what is useful and how to send it.
